Travel Support is one of Europe’s leading travel assistance companies, providing medical, travel and roadside assistance. From our 24/7 alarm centre in Varberg, we support travellers across Europe when unexpected situations occur.
We’re now preparing for the summer season and are looking for summer temporary colleagues to join our Operations team. If you’re looking for a fast-paced summer job where you get to help people when it matters most — this could be the role for you.
As a Travel Assistance Coordinator, you support customers by phone when they experience insured incidents during travel. This can include unexpected vehicle breakdowns in Sweden or abroad – where you help arrange roadside assistance, towing, rental cars and other practical solutions.
You may also handle medical-related cases such as booking doctor consultations, arranging transportation, taxi or hotel, and coordinating return travel when needed. When call volumes are high, your focus is on answering calls and supporting travellers. During quieter periods, you’ll work more with administration and case closure.
Answer incoming calls and guide travellers through urgent situations with a calm, service-minded approach
Assess needs and coordinate the right assistance (roadside, towing, rentals, medical bookings, transport, etc.)
Communicate clearly and professionally with travellers, partners and suppliers
Document and manage cases in our systems, ensuring accuracy and high quality
Support case follow-up, administration and closure when call volume allow
Must have
You are 18 years or older
Fluent in Swedish and strong English (spoken and written)
Good communication skills and a professional, empathetic tone on the phone
Comfortable working with the phone and computer as primary tools; good digital skills
Able to make correct decisions and stay structured even under pressure
Meriting
Additional languages (Nordic languages are strongly valued; other European languages are also a plus)
Experience from customer service or phone-based support
Studying/working abroad or in an international environment
