Travel Support Europe coordinates safe and efficient air ambulance transport across Europe for travellers who need rapid medical transfer, evacuation or repatriation.
We manage the case from first notification through to aircraft selection, medical crew coordination, flight logistics, clearances, documentation and follow-up. This gives insurers, assistance companies and other partners one reliable point of contact and clear visibility throughout the process.
Whether the case involves critical illness, serious injury, transfer from a remote location or repatriation to a more appropriate treating facility, we help ensure the transport solution matches the patient’s medical condition, timing requirements and destination needs.
Best for
How it works
Notification → Aircraft & crew confirmed → Transport, handover & reporting
Once a case is referred to us, we review the medical and logistical requirements together with the relevant treating providers and identify the most appropriate aircraft and onboard medical team. We then coordinate the full transport chain, including ground transfers, airport handling, communication and documentation, through to handover and case closure.
Air ambulance cases often involve urgent decision-making, multiple providers and strict medical and logistical requirements. Travel Support Europe helps ensure that each step is coordinated clearly, safely and efficiently.
Following consultation with the treating doctor, we arrange the most suitable aircraft and onboard medical crew based on the patient’s condition and the transport requirements. We manage communication, clearances, handovers and documentation throughout the case, while keeping all relevant stakeholders informed.
If further support is needed after arrival, we can also coordinate hospital admission, ground medical transport, translation support or onward medical follow-up.
