How long have you been with Travel Support?
– I have been with Travel Support for nearly a year, starting as Assistance Coordinator in November 2022.
How would you describe the company culture and your experience?
– Our office has a supportive and collaborative culture. When faced with though decisions or tasks, I can always seek advice from my supervisor or colleagues.
What does a typical workday entail for you?
In our line of work, there is no such thing as a typcial day. I handle both day and evening shifts, each bringing unique challenges. Day shifts start with scheduling appointments for cases received outside GP clinic hours, followed by managing urgent cases.
What’s the most enjoyable aspect of your job?
– I enjoy the unpredictability. Each day presents new challenges and tasks, requiring creative problem-solving.
How do you overcome challenges when dealing with travellers from diverse backgrounds across Europe?
– Despite language barriers, I ensure clear communication with clients and insurance companies. Operating across multiple countries means adapting to local regulations.
